3 Quick Tips To Help You Prepare For A Vibrant, Healthy New Year!

‘Tis the season for office deadlines, shopping marathons and holiday indulgences. Who has time to prepare for the year ahead? You do!

Below are 3 quick tips to help you prepare for an incredible year ahead:

1. Just ONE: Instead of making a giant list of New Years resolutions, pick just one thing that you will commit to doing for yourself in 2008. Be specific and share your one resolution with a close friend so that they can help keep you accountable.

Examples Include: A massage once a month; taking a high quality multi-vitamin daily; watching a 1/2 hour less T.V. per week; preparing and enjoying at least three dinners at home per week with your family; adding strength training to your current workout regimen.

2. Clean Out: This is a good time of year to get rid of old clothes, dish towels and trinkets. When we have more material “stuff” our minds can become overwhelmed. Practice the act of giving by donating these types of items to your favorite local charity before the New Year.

3. Make Your Health A Priority: Your Health IS Your Wealth. You can have all the money in the world but without good health you will probably not be very happy. To make sure 2008 is a healthy one, put your self first for a change. This means practicing the art of saying, “no” and gathering up a strong support network (family, friends, colleagues and even health practitioners). Practice good sleeping and eating habits. In addition learn how to change your negative core self-sabotaging beliefs into positive ones through EFT, Psych-K and affirmations. Health is about your physical, mental and emotional state.

Happy Holidays and see you again in 2008!
