A “New” Way to Explore Self
Looking for a new way to explore yourself? We read books, take personality tests, meditate and attend seminars in hopes that we will better develop our inner-self and outer-world. But what about pictures? Yes, pictures. Have you ever felt motivated or inspired by a single picture? They said, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” What’s your internal picture?
Well a company by the name of Imagini has launched a new site (that appears to be in Beta at the moment) to help us learn more about ourselves. In just a few minutes you can develop your internal landscape and outer world. The process is simple. They provide the pictures and you select the ones that are most appropriate to their questionnaire. The results, a Visual DNA, are displayed in both a text and picture biography describing who you are based on your picture selections. Mine was fairly accurate, you can view it here:
Communication drives us to new heights. Can you imagine a world without communication? We are speaking, listening, watching all the time - all are forms of dialog created to work with the world around us. Our world is shaped and transformed by our thoughts and expressions. If you want to learn more about yourself, take this test and add me as a friend once you’ve logged in. It’s a super fun concept and a great way to meet new people that share similar or, if you prefer, different pictures than your own.
There has been much debate around The Secret and one piece of controversy is that it is much too difficult and time consuming to manifest and visualize. These pictures might inspire or at least help you to be grateful for what brings you joy and satisfaction. Once you can define these things, you are better able to express gratitude. Gratitude brings you one step closer to a truly beautiful way of being.
